Fair enough.

I'd just started using a new keyboard and the Home keys don't respond well. Serves me right, though, for occasionally having so much confidence in what I type that I don't bother to check it over.

And for using Ebuyer.

😠
That's a great impersonation of Arsene Wenger.

That's a bit like recommending to use air condition instead of windows because if you jump out of the window, you will hurt yourself.
Well at least air conditioning would keep you cooler than Linux.

Apparently, there's nothing cooler than Linux.

I particularly liked the "Insert Home keys" combination. Rather clever, don't you think?

Feel free to PM if you don't get it. But only once.

WTF are home keys. Oh wait, I'll google it, I'll be less open to abuse that way.

To end that nightmare, consider using Fedora Linux (http://fedora.redhat.com/) If you are on a low bandwdth connection, for a few pounds you can buy a CD/DVD set. Fedora is given away for free by the well known company Red Hat.

If you insist on using Windows XP, ...[text shortened]... companies/Libraries/Schools/Hospitals are recognising Linux as a cost effective secure solution.
If my balls are itchy, I don't scratch my head, I scratch my balls.

Similarly, if I am getting adware or viruses, I educate myself, I don't change operating systems.

What nightmare? I don't have a firewall, a virus scanner, a spy ware program, or none of that junk, all it does is slows down your system, And I don't have any problems either. I use XP, and IE. I also ran Linux and Mac,

I found Linux to be slightly better if you want to host, websites, (more control)

Mac is way better if you want to do sound recording, video editing. (faster)

Overall Windows is the easiest to use, most user friendly, most compatible with other programs, Everyone knows how to use windows. And if you know how to keep junk off of it, its as fast and smooth as a whistle

You WILL regret it if you don't have a firewall.

Take my word for it. It doesn't matter what your OS is, you NEED a firewall if you connect to the internet.
