I think so many things need to change with this world!
Locally the 'only' things that go to landfill are bedding and sofas. The council burn all household waste and recycle a list of things (but no idea how compliant people are in putting those things in the green bin). All stuff you take to the local tip is disposed off in different ways than landfill.
My children's infants school was build on a landfill site and the small shopping centre (we have a few shopping centres here) was also build on a landfill site. The council has to push a pole down to the wasting mulch every so may years and check the gasses.
Just depressing: what we're doing to eachother and the planet.

But you think it's BS......hmm?
I have two; one at my bedside and one at my office. The filter of the salt lamp is preferable to the harsh, overhead lighting on the ceilings of both my bedroom and office, especially nice for gradually awakening and mitigating the atmosphere of a particularly stressful job...
As for any further esoteric benefits, I cannot say.
@hand-of-hecate saidOr two with the universe if you stick them up to far.
Smash them up with a hammer and stick the pieces up your bum to become one with the universe.
