@russ saidBuy? Just give them away to some poor kid!
Many years ago I bought (for virtually nothing) all the old consoles I could not have as a child from ebay.
Now they just sit in my garage. Anyone want to buy an Atari VCS or two?
Most recent console game played and enjoyed : FarCry 5 / Xbox Series.
Providing they can still be played and are in working order. 🙂

@divegeester saidWe got quite a bit in common there, particularly the Xbox [had 3 versions], and Halo 1 to 4.

@divegeester saidHave you never heard of Xbox Game Pass?
So you already bought it but hadn’t played it?
@divegeester saidIf you subscribe to it, you can stream games or download them to your Xbox. If you have the Ultimate Game Pass you can play any game they have on the service (including some games the day they come out, as well as some older games) as long as they stay on the service. They rotate games off and on the service periodically. You can also get PC Game Pass, which is the same service, but for PC games. I believe you can also just buy any game they have to doadload and keep on your device. Gone are the days of getting a disc when you buy a game, now you just download it. If you're a heavy gamer, you already have broadband, so download time is minimal.
No I hadn’t, what is it?
@divegeester saidWho am I to say, but your time might be better spent working on your chess game. 🙂
