@wolfgang59 saidI can see it catching on wherever it’s cold enough or maybe artificial ice in swimming pools but it will be quite specialised given you need lungs like a whale.

@great-big-stees saidStill need to be whalesque, really cold water and being physically active, and you’ve got targets to meet while your down there, not you stees, you’d be fine, 😊
Or several, well placed, holes in the ice.
But I could see it being adapted, to say an Olympian size pool, I think their on to something here.
Relating to another thread, if your sitting at the side of an Olympic size pool with a cover displaying holes at regular intervals and someone says “what do you think of the hockey” you can assume their referring to this hockey. But I still think it’s more of a spectators sport 😟
@kevcvs57 saidI don't think it will catch on big.

@very-rusty saidNo it wouldl be a niche sport. I have no figures on the popularity of Free Diving but I don’t imagine it’s a mass participation sport.

@kevcvs57 saidHockey played under the ice, I don't think would be a real popular sport. One would have to be a diver to start with. You only have oxygen for so much time. I don't assume there would be any body contact. Don't think it would be much of a spectator sport. Then again I never thought the Trumpster would be come President. 😉
