Had anyone here tried this? I’m due a nice crop of apples and blackberries which I usually turn into jam but wondered about putting some in a Rumtopf / rum pot with vodka?
I don't drink alcohol often enough to make it feel worth while brewing my own but reading this thread had has made me think about making my own chutney/pickle again.

I could go to R&B Grill a delicatessen here, and get some Branston Pickle. We don't have Waitrose.
