I've tried modern medicine and spent over 2000 on it.
I'm willing to ttry something new.

What rubbish ! The only 'science' that shows this involves interviewing people. Someone should explain the placebo effect to you!
Mind you don't confuse Homeopathy with natural remedies, which I am all for. I am no fan of orthodox medicine and didn't vaccinate my second child (long story) but if you look into Homeopathy it's nonsense. Take vitamins instead , better value!
My mother passed away about a week after seeing her doctor who told her she was the picture of health, just needed to lose a little weight.
I have been trying pills and excercise to cure my back pain.
I have had the pain for about 20 years or more. Recently I started trying massage therapy ( aggressive deep tissue, with stretching).
Dig this, the insurance is now open to funding more alternative ideas besides pill popping (sympton masking) traditional medicine.

Originally posted by Weadleyi've tried a Chinese deep tissue massage and it is very good. after 1/2 hr of massage they would give me 1/2 hr on acupunture where they would plug you into the wall. always came out feeling heaps better. it may not fix your back-prob, but enjoy!

wtf?box of birds???
i think you did too much beet root dude
i believe alternative treatments have answers in some cases but a lack of acceptance in the medical world causes a lack of documentation as to what works or not. mabey if doctors and the like didn't think so highly of themselves then more progress would have been made and more people would have received the help they deserve.
even an easing of pain 'without pain-killers' is good. people who constantly take pain-killers are sure to have added problems added to an already below-par life so surley something like massage-thearapy is good if it can lessen the amount of pills popped. personally i prefer beer and bourbon any day as they also have a tendency to cause me to smile!
