If you like spiced rum Capt. Morgan is pretty good stuff. Trader Vics makes a good hot buttered rum mix.
I would rather not use a mix.
I'm planning on taking a mug with me while the kids are trick-or-treating. 😀

Hot Buttered Rum
A hot buttered rum is a warm alcoholic beverage made with light rum, butter, sugar, and cloves mixed with hot water.
Ingredients:
1 oz. light rum
1 tsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. butter
4 cloves
Glass:
Coffee mug
Procedure:
Mix sugar, butter, cloves and rum together in mug and stir.
Fill mug with hot water and stir again.
