@gambrel saidKeep in mind we are surrounded by water which drives up the humidity that makes it seem a lot hotter. Feels more like well over 80 in the old "F" scale. You guys don't have water on all sides of you like we do remember we are connected by a small strip of land going to New Brunswick and a causeway going to Cape Breton. It makes a huge difference. I have a sister and brother moved up there and 80 F doesn't seem as hot as it does here. They grew up here most of their lives.
Isn't 25°c = 77°f?
Sorry VR, but that's not hot where I'm from. We've been over 100 a few times, almost certain to be 90+ most days until October, then about Dec-Feb we'll be glad to see 40, with -20 cold snaps.
I do know the older I get, the more I hate the cold and hot extremes.
Our cold snaps are -30 plus long periods of time. We get much colder and also much hotter. Just ask any from Nova Scotia you might know or P.E.I. or Newfoundland.
The older I get I mind the hot weather more bothersome....Of course you have a few years on me, so I may feel differently then. 🙂
I will have to check out the feel like temps tonight on the evening news & weather. Let you know what it actually felt llike.

@very-rusty saidYou're right, I lived on the east coast. The humidity makes it feel hotter and colder than it is. 20°f was bone chilling.

Our humidex was in the 30's they said the feel like temperature here would have been in the 90's f. depending where one lived. Only going to get hotter as the week goes along tomorrow and Friday as well as today had heat warnings.
