Where do they buy them? How do they wash them?

I have been buying towels for my home for as long as Warren Beatty
has been womanizing the population of the U.S., and I just cannot find
them as fluffy and soft and drying as the ones in hotels. I came up
close twice, if I recall correctly, but after some months at home they
became flat, vulgar towels. Their former glory succumbed again and
again, no matter all the washing machine products I tried.

Today I asked the hotel reception about their towels, a practice that
I've had for quite some years. And it seems all the hotel people go to
the same Hotel Service University because she gave me the same
answers I've been receiving for years: "they are just normal towels,
sir"

Liar! Liar!

have a look at this extract from my essay "towel rotation in 17th centuary". hope it helps

"Towel rotation or Towel sequencing is the practice of washing and hangging a series of dissimilar types of Towel in the same area in sequential weeks for various benefits such as to avoid the build up of non-fluffyness and dryness that often occurs when one species is continuously washed. Towel rotation also seeks to balance the fertility demands of various Towels to avoid excessive depletion of cotton nutrients. A traditional component of Towel rotation is the replenishment of nitrogen through the use of green manure in sequence with polyesters and other Towels. It is one component of polyculture. Towel rotation can also improve towel structure and fertility by alternating deep-rooted and shallow-rooted cotton towels."

The best fluffiest towels are, in fact, made from Egyptian cotton.
Well they are the ruddy expensive ones I buy, and have big letters EGYPTIAN COTTON, as if that means anything. They take the water from every muscle like Andrex to a drop of water.

I haven't googled it, but I'm sure you can start with 'Egyptian cotton towels'!

Good News!

They grow it in California!

Next time you are there selling oranges pick up some towels! 😀

Edit: Dont air-dry them. Tumble dry them to keep 'em fluffy.

Do you have weighing scales upon which I can weigh your weighing scales upon my weighing scales before I buy a kilo?
