hi, i have been following some games, i noticed that one or two players had consistently good ratings then suddenly they crash so that their rating graph looks like the side of a mountain, how is this possible ?, what happens ?, do they lose confidence, try playing dubious openings, take on too many games? one guy was playing consistently good chess ...[text shortened]... 00+ rating, suddenly he plummets to 1190???, can anyone explain this phenomena - regards robert.
