there have been some updates to the site
and depending on whether or not you log in from facebook or the web

If you don't sign out you should stay signed in. Otherwise you can go to "My Settings" and find "enable Multi sign" and enable that. You can then stay signed in on different machines.

If you are using an iPad/iPhone, the most common cause is "privacy mode".
If you leave it enabled, your session will be deleted each time you close the web page (it deletes all cookies). Good for privacy, bad for staying logged in!
