[sic] is what you put after something you are quoting that is grammatically incorrect or spelled wrongly, to emphasise that it was the original person who made the mistake, not you

If you read a decent newspaper, or especially Private Eye, you'll see it a lot, because they like to show when a politician or some other corrupt git is completely ignorant of the English language
