Whatever the qualifications, apparently good judgment isn't one of them.

I think it is sad that at a chess play site, the number 1 reccced post is some haggis chomper whining about football. Thank goodness for GP's excellent post on chess.

Last time they made a request for moderation applicants they stipulated that candidates must have been here for over a year, active in the forums and a history of non-controversial posts.
