The parrot is not a bird. It's a mammal like a bat or a dolphin. A dolphin is not a fish in a similar way to how a zebra is not a kind of horse, or, conversely, how a fox IS a kind of dog.

This is not a direct effect on my life and there are so many people this is affecting but it IS affecting people who contribute to shaping culture in significant ways:
I just read that that John Prine, musician and creator of classic blues/country/ folk songs such as Angel from Montgomery, is in the hospital due to complications from COVID-19 and was intubated on Saturday. It doesn’t look good for him.
If nothing else, this makes me extremely sad.
