It sounds like my neighbour's house. She has 11 cats at the moment. Three females delivered kittens within days of each other last year - which meant she had 23 cats for a while! 😲
I had to be careful because I didn't want any complaints from neighbours. Of course they were all pure-bred cats, so they were not allowed outside. Natually, I was cleaning up kitty litter all the time and constantly vacuuming because I didn't want to be drowning in cat hair, but as I say, I loved it.

2 female shelter tabbies, totally different personalities, still hissing and spitting after a week together ...

I wish my neighbour was as conscientious. The fleas in summer mean I don't visit her house and I am always up to date with flea treatment on my cats! 😲

I never had a problem with flees, not a single flee at all. If your cats are strictly indoor cats, then they can't contact flees. At least that was my experience. But vacuuming faithfully helps with that problem, and make sure you dispose of the vacuum bags right away. You can get a special carpet powder that helps too. Nip it in the bud!

Man, I'm telling you...if I ever saw some kids doing that to a cat or a dog
it would be hard for me not to do the same to them.

You know what I mean?

That is just evil.
I completely agree. The crap should beaten out of 'em.

Anyway, I have two nice cats. Persians. The only problem is that their fur is everywhere - on clothes, carpets, in food.

EDIT: The dark one is actually only Half-Persian.

I think pets and children that are abused are the most innocent victims in the world. I hope such abusers rot in hell.

Two, one from the animal shelter and one from a wild litter behind a warehouse where my wife works.

My cats go outside. We live in a rural area and opposite my house there are woods that lead to farmland, it's lovely for the cats.
I don't have the flea problem on my cats because I take preventative measures, but people can transport them on clothing, so I'm careful with my house too and have a bagless vacuum cleaner.

you should get a roomba vacuumbot. probly qualify as a business deduction if you breed the cats.
