The argument is in private courts at this moment as for with or without.

But your comment is in favour of my argument. Those who offend, and consistently offend, will surely be the ones who object? The law abiding most of us would prefer a system of tracking all. If you are having an affair and your movements are followed, d for the benefit of all. (But also, I do admit Big Brother is getting worse. Invest in it!!)
Wrong! I give it only 10 years to happen; mark my words: 10 years from now EVERYBODY will HAVE to have RFID chip implants in their bodies.

Your government will say that it is to 'protect you'. ๐Ÿ™‚

Yes, in the US the government is going to make all Americans carry a National ID card that will have a RFID chip as of May 2008. They've already figured out how to do it - just incorporate the chip into a driver's license. You have to have it to drive.

But guess what? Within a few years they'll make it MANDATORY that everyone has the chip inserted into th ...[text shortened]... y food!

Geez, seems like somebody once wrote about these things... remember? Revelations?
Well the things would be easy enough to defeat: a few seconds in a microwave oven should deal with that rather neatly I would think.
Nothing like a thousand watts of 5 GHz radiation confined in a one cubic foot box to fry those little suckers.

I'm not talking about Mercola's site. Give me a link to any authoritive site linking RFID with mandatory human insertion in the near future.

Too right, tee hee

I have my silver foil at the ready, and have made a rather fetching hat.

I intend merchandising anti-rfid products for those more romantic moments.
(Don’t want those suckers taxing that)

There is no credible link stating that everyone will have to have inserts. That's just a conclusion of the way things are stacking up.

For example, there was a story in the news a while back where a company required their employees to have RFID chips inserted into their body! It was a condition of employment.

If you are really interested in what's going on with this stuff just google RFID chip inserts.

Someone did write about this. "It is a tale told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing." MacBeth, Act 5, Scene 5. Wasn't Shakespeare prescient?

People who create things that you do not agree with are not "idiots". Enjoy what you like in this world, avoid that which you do not like... but most of all stop trying to force your opinions on the rest of us as if it were "truth".

Did anyone see the new Bond movie?

They stuck an RFID in Bond, which of course later saved his life and the villain looking absolutely evil takes it out when he takes him captive.

Felt like a glowing endorsement for the implanted RF IDs to me.

I felt it was rather funny that the movie started to suck azz about the same time he gets the RF ID.

First hour is awesome action, great chases and fights. Then Bond gets the RF ID goes off to play Poker and boredom and bitchery ensue.

I woudlnt be willing to accept anything implanted in my skin for "my own safety" and it has nothing to do with not being a law abiding citizen or not having anything to hide, but rather just being strongly opposed to being implanted with anything.
