I put the camera on the zoom tripod, and tried to get it closer to my face so my voice wasn't as drowned out....the negative being you see more of my face 😛

It's all about confidence. The moment you start singing like you're entertaining people, the more your voice will expand and the emotion will come out. Look at Phlabs, his videos scream at you, whether you like them or not. Do your best to ignore the camera. You've got good rhythm though and the guitar has a nice tone, keep it up.
I do however want to try and get a full song by the end of the year complete with drum track and bass if i can find someone who can help.
