Originally posted by Phlabibitblow it out of the air with one of them leaf-blower thingies, then throw a blanket over it before it can take off again. if you don't have a leaf-blower handy, try a butterfly net or a cat-on-a-stick (to chase it to the garage door with - be careful not to let the cat actually get the bird).
The bird is a good 15 or 18 feet up bouncing and won't go to the open garage door about 30 feet away.
Ideas?

Listen, chumps.
I respect heights. In my dreams, I dread them! I have long dreams having climbed someplace I can't get down from.
When I'm at a height, I look down and get the belly willies.
If I'm watching TV I can get the same sense.
But I'd go up if I had to.
The bird is now gone, we put a red binder-flap on a pole and the bird landed on it! Took it to the door and it flied out.
Thanx for the posts, and congratulations to the users that didn't say BB GUN.
