If A Momentary Lapse Of Reason is your favorite Pink Floyd album, then you are NOT a Pink Floyd fan.

What about Meddle? What about Animals? Two major classics.

I like, and listen to all the mentioned albums. I actually said my "current favourite" was MLOR.

Dark Side of the Moon is probably the best album ever made by anyone, the only thing close is Sergeant Peppers.

A little history lesson for you:

The Final Cut (1983) was the last Pink Floyd album.

Everything that came after that (including MOLR) is nothing more than a glorified David Gilmour solo album, masquerading under the Pink Floyd name.

There are those, of course, who will quibble with that and say that The Final Cut was actually the first Roger Waters solo album. Point taken. In which case, The Wall (1979) would be the final Pink Floyd album.

What's the best song on The Wall. For me it would be Comfortably Numb, no question.

Unlike Pink Floyd chronology, that is purely a matter of taste. As my own tastes change from time to time, I am unable to answer the question.
