Here's something new you might try. 1. Lower your game load rather than expanding it. 2. Once past the opening (book) moves, set up the positions on a physical board with real pieces and go deep into the positions, analyzing several lines of play, pick out the very best line you can find each time your opponent moves. 3. Have a coach, or much stronger player, go over your completed games and suggest improvements. Write these ideas down and play through them multiple times. Doing these things will help you improve, rather than drifting along at the same level year after year. 🙂
