Don't know how many centuries that has been going on but if you are a young girl there, you have a good chance of being molested or raped by your brothers before anyone else does it to you. Even though Susan was married to one, she was treated like dirt, and she was a professional hawaiian dancer, like really into the culture. Never was accepted by her husband's family. Later, he started turning violent, back in Venice Beach where she grew up, beating her up and such, come home dead drunk. screwing everyone who stood still.
