Folks,
My sympathies to those of you who may be suffering in this economy. I hope that, regardless of your political persuasion, you are able to prosper in these difficult economic times.
I am having a different sort of problem. I am having difficulty matching the needs of my clients to the available skill sets. I've tried LinkedIn, Facebook, and a few other places. And there are as many smart people on this site as anywhere, so I thought I'd try this.
I have openings for 30+ civil engineers for jobs based in Walnut Creek, CA. The successful candidates will be experienced in civil-structural design, with experience in seismic engineering or science a big plus. Experience with nuclear power plant design or seismic analysis puts you at the top of the list. Familiarity with ANSYS, SASSI, and SAP2000 also moves you to the top of the list. U.S. citizen a plus. Advanced degree preferred but not required. Salary commensurate with experience. Relocation package offered, may be ale to work remotely.
Also have openings for folks with all types of PRA experience - fire and seismic most desired. Familiarity with NFPA 804 and 805, especially 805, a plus.
Contact me via message if qualified and interested and I will send you an email address to forward your resume. After a phone screen and more information about our company, I will get you started in the process. By all means, please pass this on to any and all interested and qualified.

On return the unassuming dude resumed 2nd Place Ranking alongside Bowmann for most rhp/gf thumbs evah... head slightly brusied, shoulders bloodied but still unbowed, soldiering on.
Molto grazie, Gramps...glad to see you're still hangin' around!

I am trying to recruit new piano teachers. North Dakota is booming due to the oil production at the Bakken. They need workers in every field you can imagine. Teachers, nurses and doctors, construction...both roads and housing...restauranteers. Whatever!

How sustainable will the boom prove to be?
