It's suprising what people can get used to given time. I find the whole thing funny now, and it adds to the chaotic ambiance of the place.

When did you go over, and do you plan staying for good?
I used to find it funny, a few months though and it's just annoying. I like it when the green man means walk and not keep looking because you might be killed at any moment.

I've been here for nearly 3 months now, don't know about staying for good but i'll be here for a while.

I can imagine, India the same. I don't miss a lot about Ireland but general driving skills are up there.
So about this newspaper thing, did anybody get a picture of the Irishman hitting the bus driver?

About a month ago I was crossing at a pedestrian crossing and cars turning needs to give right of way to pedestrians.
Dude in a POS Opel almost ran me over, so I shouted profanities at him through his open window and kicked his back door.
He stopped and stuck out his head out the window. I started towards him and he just sped off. Wuss.
I've seen photos of you. I think I'd have sped off too.

I can see ANYONE running from you! You'd be out of breath in less than 2 minutes I'm sure. 😛

ROFLMAO....Perhaps the fellow was concerned you might be hungry!!

You haven't driven in Jerusalem or Cairo yet, I gather? That is an experience you never forget.

Sounds like the beginning of a bad joke...
