I love Manhattan, because the people I met there were so nice and surprisingly curious. For instance, they would say: "Oh you speak with an accent, where are you from...?" I think that's nice.

I love rediscovering a food I rejected as a child, because it looked or smelt funny.

I recently had this experience with beetroot.

I love golf because it affords me exercise, camaraderie and most importantly a "19th Hole" where more banter and camaraderie are enjoyed with even more exercise (the elbow and jaw).

In Dallas my English accent (with a slight Mancunian twinge) was mistaken on no fewer than FIVE occasions for that of an Australian accent!!??

Americans have very rarely done a good Aussie accent in the movies,so I guess life imitates art.
I love all the things that I've read about so far.
Especially the music writing. I'm still trying to write the perfect rock song 🙂
