I remember a boat on the backwaters in Kerala where the boards at the very back were screened off. There was a circular hole for taking a crap into the water. I remember thinking that I wouldn't be balancing on the back trying to use that. Then about an our into the journey I got the feeling that I had been right to worry about the somewhat luke warm curry I had ate before the journey. I have repressed most of the rest of that journey.
