this is the way i was feeling, been playing for about 3 years and the fun is completely sucked out of it when you play boring chess with less blunders.
that's why i've played the 2009 champs as a blitz tournament, i still think a little about what i'm doing but don't double check anything and it's resulted it some crazy games. it's only a matter of time before i lose to a 1200 or something but i don't care.

You don't suck at chess. You have reached the point however that you've learned enough about the game to make you aware of how much you don't know...and that can be a humbling experience!😏
Chess is a game for two people. The reigning World Champion and histop challanger. The rest of us are spectators. Give the world a break and quit crying. Its the only game where you can watch and really appreciate the genius of the players. Just knowing how much better these over developed thinking machines are than us is an indicator they are not normal humans. They are anomalies that are able to manefest their illness in a positive way. As much as I am in awe of Bobby Fischer, I would not want that brain inside my head. His was a living hell as is the lives of nearly all the insane. I thank him for his genius but would not want to be like him. Be thankful your the stumbling inept dolt that you are.

It's this waiting and searching for the next ecstatic rush that keeps us going, knowing it's there deep inside us, waiting for the right moment to be revealed.

Hang in there toots and good games are my hope for you.
