@Executioner-Brand
Every day I encounter clients who are extremely appreciative of the support provided to them by mental health services.
Sorry to burst your bubble. I actually work in a job that is very rewarding and all about empowerment and independence. (Not to mention stable mental health).
@executioner-brand saidIt is impossible to explain the other side to goad, as he has tunnel vision when it comes to mental health.
And the mental health patient claimed he didn't regret what he did because of what happened to his cat which was nothing as the now dead women was trying to explain to him but he was too spaced out on mental health drugs.

@very-rusty saidIn the past 5 years or so of my poisoned mouth I have personally met a LOT of mental health patients and I have never met one who was thankful but the majority complain.

@executioner-brand saidLOL....Like a few thumbs down ever prevented me from saying it like it is, or at least how I see it. 😉

Do you work in mental health? Are your experiences in this field more comprehensive than mine?
@ghost-of-a-duke saidYou try to make it sound like everything is going great and everyone is happy which is so far from the truth and people know it goad, you're not fooling anyone but your self in that line of thinking. The "Mental Health" situation everywhere is not perfect or anywhere near it. So lets cut the Crap!!!

@executioner-brand saidIf your position is that antipsychotics cause such episodes of violence rather than preventing or making them less likely then there really is no talking to you.
I tried to explain to some of the stabbed people and their friends that he didn't stab everybody because he was not* taking his meds but because he was on them.
@very-rusty saidWhere have I said everything is perfect?

I am countering the argument put forward that nobody is grateful for mental health support. This is blatantly incorrect and offensive to the many fine professionals out there who's only motivation is to help people struggling with mental health issues.
