see site forum... new rating system is being tried where you get a "provisional" rating from the first 20 games you play, so that when you start to play rated games for real you have a more realistic rating. Until then the rating is unrealistic eg. losing one game to David Tebb would give a rating of 1600ish.

Check out the highest rating table, at 15 we have bluebabygirl, played 1 won 1 rating 1839. Must have been some win to get that many points!!!

Basically what's happened is that Chris has changed the rating system for newcomers, and Bluebabygirl's rating should not have been shown in the charts, as it's only provisional (she has played less than 20 games).
