If I Had My Way...

All parents would begin teaching children manners, considerateness of others and acceptance of authority well before they learned to walk

or talk. The US of A would return to its free enterprise greatness as a world class manufacturing, rather than service, economy. Electorates

would learn to cast votes on the basis of a candidate's leadership ability, not well honed rhetoric, scintillating personality or public style.

Has Odbody changed the spelling of his name? Or is he just trying to confuse us? 😕

His right index did a stutter step. Would like to say, 'Intentionally to

see if you were around this morning' but that would have been a lie.

Are you speaking about the U.S.?

Ever since JFK, the U.S. has not experienced any of these in a politician.

Yes, but believe the principle generally applies. Agree (about 90 percent) with your comment on JFK.

Edit: 10% reserved for state level elections (former guv of MN comes to mind).

Guess maybe I should have spelled out the intent, which was for you

to complete the title of the thread with your own personal viewpoint.

Rots o ruck with that one. Now with 3 year olds getting cell phones and such, 30 hours of TV a day, I think the idyllic days of yore are totally over and a new era of 'entertain me', 'input, input, input' and not much in the 'output' area, we are in a corporate owned world where insurance companies now decide who needs medical care (assuming you even HAVE insurance)
and the doctors are there just to give optional advice. Welcome to the 21st century gramps. It basically sucks, eh.

Don't lose all hope yet... my 3 year old prefers building a tower, reviewing shapes and colors, organizing toys, naming animals, and all sorts of strange things to the TV.

He says please, thank you, and sorry without being prompted.

His parents don't have a cell phone, so I don't see him having one in the next 12 years or so.

Ah, the last one left in the wild....
Have anthropologists made discreet inquiries to your lifestyle? Anyone seen watching you from a distance with binoculars, recording observations?
Have your children been tagged with RFID's so they can track them?
You see guys with little Yagi antenna's pointing them in your direction?🙂

Rbmorris, your thoughtful posts always add so very much to the overall quality of the RHP General Forum. Your profile photo

and avatar also reveal much about your conflicts. Please know that you're still on my prayer list, even though at the bottom.
