If you were 10 times older?

I would have been born in the second year of the Thirty Years' War. I imagine it wouldn't have been a very happy childhood. Johannes Kepler published his book "Harmonice Mundi" that year, and I would have been born in the same month as Jan van Riebeeck (the English and Norwegian Wikipedia say that he was born on 21 April, the German one says 16 April).

If I was 10X older, I'd still be younger than most of my jokes. 😞

Not a lot recorded for my birth year of 1359. Berlin joined the Hanseatic League and a Japanese emperor was born.
When I reached adulthood in 1377 things hadn't improved much. The English got a new set of rulers, the Bad Parliament, who must have been really bad because they only lasted 34 days. And another Japanese emperor was born.
Now it's 1424 and virtually nothing has been recorded. But a third Japanese emperor died.

Obviously I have a powerful influence on Japanese royalty ... 🙂

if i could have chosen the decade and year of my birth ( in this lifetime ) i would have chosen either to have been a sioux plains indian in the 1840's ( to have seen the change when the railroad and white men came west ) or to have been a farmer in oregon in the 1890's and have led a peaceful life growing apples and peas or perhaps a mormon pioneer walking across the great plains to what the map showed as empty mexican territory in the great salt lake to escape the persecution of my fellow americans for believing differently than they did ( did they not remember roger williams and rhode island ? )...

If I were ten times older I wouldn't still be playing with the kids in this place. 😉

I would have been contemporary with the Founding Fathers! I would have been, probably, the child of a Spaniard and a Tongva who loved one another (not a rape). But I would have been a youngish man in the years when the Spanish occupation (as opposed to exploration) began.

I would have probably been one of Toypurina's followers!
