Yes, but right now it's not so much of a winter wonderland -- more grey dismal skies during the day and brown dismal ground and trees. OTOH, there's nothing to shovel so I'm not complaining too much.

That's what I thought, too! But here the kids get everything they want, so none of them feel the need to earn money by shovelling! In fact, when I asked one father about his son possibly shovelling my snow, he said that the teen didn't even do his own sidewalk.

I'm too short to be scary, generally. However, I have been known to have students quiver in fear just by threatening to sing Barney songs to them. Nothing gets a classroom cleaner than mentioning the Barney clean-up song!
