My "pet peeves thread" instigated this new thread about dog owners.
Cesar Milan (the dog whisperer) says that he rehabilitates dogs, and TRAINS humans. He says this for a very good reason: most people get a dog because they fall in love with a puppy, giving NO real thought to actually training the dog.
What you end up with? Dogs that bark excessively, attack people at the front door, beg...beg for food at the table, and DRAG their human down the street during a supposed "walk".

My bad. Sometimes I just don’t get oblique comments. It’s usually “young people” making cool jokes about internet memes on imgur or some such place ~ I read what they’ve written several times and I just don’t get the funny. Maybe I’m not supposed to.
