I wrote a beautiful and wordy apology only to find that I was ignored
if only I could have known in advance I could have save a lot of time
is there any way of knowing if you are on an ignore list before making contact?

You would probably have to ask the question of do a test before writing out something long and boring. Just say "Do you have me on Ignore list"? 😉
