Lol. See, if I was a pilot and I flew millions of Americans every day, but 42,000 of them died last year (on my flight) and you had tickets booked to my plane, you probably wouldn't fly right? But yet we get in our cars every day and 42,000 people died last year in car accidents. But do we still drive? Of course.

aye you're right of course, london is horrible. i grew up in the outer hebrides where the air is clear and the roads are magnificent - but that doesn't stop people wrapping themselves round lamp-posts every now and again. i'll stick to my pushbike πŸ™‚

Not totally true if you think about it. How many different people have driven with you being the passenger? Family, friends, strangers by public transport, etc etc.

Not a big deal in the discussion but I thought I'd point it out anyway. πŸ˜›
