I'm b-a-a-a-ack!

The old Sundowner has returned,so let the party begin! My schedule here at RHP will be small to start,as I am totally rusty after a year away from the game. No invites to tourneys,teams,or leagues for the moment please-I'd like to get back some of my old playing strength before I commit,but it's good to be back.

I used to be,son,I used to be. I was as high as 2060 USCF,and 2316 on Stan'sNet,but that was many,many moons ago. If I get close to where I was,I'm probably still about 1900 USCF.That 1491 RHP rating comes from forfeiting a ton of games my last time here.

My last official USCF rating is 1800(my floor). That 2060 goes back about 12 years.or so,when I was really heavy into the game.

Xanthos-my bad re:my RHP rating. I was thinking about Stan'sNet. I never did get much above 1650 here,and my last few games were absolute disasters. That's one of the reasons I quit chess-I decided if I couldn't do any better than that,then there was no point in playing anymore.

1650 is about 1800-1900 by todays standards as the ratings are inflating. However, chess isn't about ratings-it's about the joy of the game! But maybe that's because my rating isn't overly good anyway...
