I can think of countless members who have switched nicks with the admins knowledge and approval.

    Don't confuse changing names with being a 3(a) TOS'er.
I'm just teasing you know I agree with you mate.

ah....so you are another poster who feel they have the 'power' to interpret v simple rules in their own way?

How does one acquire this power?

If the rule is as stated in the 'T & C', I have won the argument

If posters can put their own 'spin' on what rule 3a) means, then no argument about it can ever be won.

and that really is all I have to say on this matter.

No. If the the rule is stated in the T&Cs, but applied slightly differently (as it would seem) then you have lost the argument, and you owe ChessPraxis an apology—he was only offering helpful and factual information.

    Rule 3a) states

'You will not create more than one account'

No mention of 'spinning another account' if you forget your password (can't you just ask RHP to email a new one?)

Just asking, but why do you feel you have the authority to put whatever 'spin' you see f ...[text shortened]... vy price for. Jut saying that 'blunderdog' and his other identities should be sanctioned equally
I never said I had any authority. If you have further questions, ask Russ via feedback at the page bottom. These are the rules as I understand them, and as they have applied to countless dozens if not hundreds of other players.

Are you playing dumb or are you really this thick?

    Hello my friend

Neither 'dumb' nor 'really this thick' it would seem. Sorry...

Took your advice and contacted Russ. His advise was

'forgetting a password is not a good reason to create a new account, as it can be reset'

It would appear that your 'countless hundreds' (Wow!! that's a lot of people!) are wrong also.

Pm me with your email if you would like the 'Russ reply', or contact him yourself

I deserve, but don't expect, an apology from you and/or your mate NER.

    Just saying
It's a bit rich to see you lecturing other people here about having multiple accounts, you have at least 4 yourself!

    Indeed

are you keeping up, Ed Bishop? The argument has gone beyond that.. (it was 2, actually, but when did the facts get in the way of any of your 'arguments'😉

Let your mates Chess Praxis and NER answer for themselves

I don't have or use an email. I made an email account some time back just to register here and at another site. I then deleted the email.
So if I forget my password, how do I get back in?? Hmmm...

I can name at lest 30 users here who have changed nicknames, including both site admins.

Maybe there are separate rules for TOS'ers, I wouldn't know, I am a normal person.

As for an apology, I give them out when I see the need.
    There is no need here.

    Jeez....

I contact Russ, as asked to by yourself, and get a definitive answer.

And still you witter on about passwords. What is now the point??

You can name 'at lest 30'. Hardly 'countless 100s'

Give it up. Lots more battles to fight. Let this one go.....
