I'm gratefull...

...for my partner,who steals the blanket at night
because that means she's with me,and not with someone else
...for my kids,who seem glued to their computers
because that means they're home,and not wondering around on the streets
...for the taxes I have to pay
because that means I have a job
...for the mess I have to clean after the party
because that means I had friends over
...for my clothes that are a little too tight
because that means I have more than enough food
...for my shadow that allways accompanies me
because that means I have a place under the sun
...for the lawn that needs mowing and the windows that need cleaning
because that means I have a roof over my head
...for all the complaints I hear about our government
because that means we have freedom of speach
...for the parkingspot that is furthest from the office/mall/school/etc..
because that means I'm able to walk,and can afford a car
...for the high heating bills
because that means I can sit warm inside,when it's cold
...for the man/woman in church/on the radio/on tv/etc..who can't carry a tune
because that means I can hear
...for the load of dirty clothes and ironing
because this means I have enough clothes to wear
...for the tiredness and sore muscles,at the end of the day
because that means I am able to work hard
...for the alarm that wakes me in the morning
because that means I'm still alive

and last,but certainly not least,of all,I am gratefull for the many emails,messages and phonecalls I receive every day.Because that means I have friends who think of me.
