The university organises the accommodation for you? That's handy!
Definitely, I can hardly imaging myself easily arranging myself accomodation in a city that I know little about, nor would it make it easy for me to find shared accomodation with other students; unless there is was some help from the uni.
🙂
The only problem I have is that they stuck me in en suite accomodation, I can afford it, but it costs more, and that's pretty annoying, it was the last choice on my preferences. 😕

Holy crap, that snuck up on me. 😕
Don't F this up.

Don't get a steady girlfriend, or, if you do, nail her friends.

Don't drink yourself into oblivion, you'll do this despite my warning.

Do steal your roomates wallet when he drinks himself into a coma.

Do consider switching your major to law or something else that will allow you to get a job.

Don't be a numbsack.

Do have fun and cover your wagon if you're going to screw sketchy chicks.

This is probably your own fault for either putting your application in too late or having a last name that starts somewhere past R.

Which city?

Will you be taking any electives such as welding or auto body repair so you'll be able to get a job when you graduate?

GRANNY.
I would hardly take any 'electives' as you call them, if I didn't feel they were necessary or useful, to a career I'd want to do, or perhaps even just interesting, those examples you gave are none of those things.

Maybe, sent it in a week before it needed to be in, hardly late though, oh well.

Leicester. 😛

I love my girlfriend, I wouldn't hurt her, or leave her for the world. 😛

Well, you're off to a fine start. This is a huge mistake and one you'll regret in years to come. Unless your going to some gay bag all male college, University should yield a plethora, a veritable feeding frenzy of fresh poonanny.

Plus, the girlfriend never needs to know. Your poonanny juggling skills will become finely honed under my guidance.

Easily? Maybe not. But it works for most German students. You have to spend some time and nerves on it, search the flat listings in the newspaper and the notice-boards of the university, make some phone calls, go to flat viewings... Or you are lucky and know somebody who knows somebody who is looking for someone to take over xyr room, or you get to stay with a friend or a friend of a friend for a while until you have found something, etc. The advantage of this system is that you can see for yourself if you like the place, and especially if you go for shared accommodation, you aren't put into a flat with random people (existing flat-sharing communities often choose new flatmates very carefully).

Your guidance is not welcome, I'm not the type to go around shagging people, regardless of the amount of fresh poonanny there is, I'm not a man whore.

I'm sure the system has it's advantages, but it does seem like a lot of work.
