spectrum 48k was the way ahead, how could we have been so misled?... just turn it on and there was your operating system, 25 years down the line i have to wait 5 mins for windows to load

Bear with it. I was born in Europe, gas light, battery operated radio that had to be charged weekly & television was in it's infancy.
