I remember when the word "email" had a hyphen.

Anyone remember "e-mail"? No?

Not only that, I remember "party lines" where more than one household shared a common phone land line.

@Cheesemaster

I remember the first time I saw an electric typewriter, the light touch on the keyboard, and the time before that with ordinary Underwood typewriters.

I remember picking up the phone and saying, "Operator, 1-4-5 please". That was my Aunt's number :-)

I remember that. Sometimes you were making a call and you heard a different conversation going on as well because the lines got messed up.

A “Party Line” wasn’t a messed up or crossed line call, it was a shared line where two households utilised the same physical phone line but with different numbers.
