'Immoderation Primer'
Let's please be real clear on three obvious things: #1 There are far too many informative, provocative, courageous, free spirit, entertaining
threads and posts on the RHP General Forum to possibly count. #2 We're looking at the other day in/day out low end, angry, irrational and
frustrated twenty percent. #3 Pareto's Curve still appears to be alive and well. Virtually all of the personality attacks, harsh value judgements,
public lies, morbid gossip, veiled slander, criticisms of personal style, petty distinctions without a meaningful difference, unclever innuendo,
scatalogical flirtations, left handed compliments, excessive poor taste and inflammatory cheap shots are quite simply explained. Either these
unfortunate individuals were dropped on their heads by some clumsy nurse in toddlerhood or they lack a normal and healthy sense of self
assuredness and self esteem. Apparently that nurse was an authority figure they've never forgiven but rather have made it a life mission
to even the score by punishing her vicariously... or their self esteem is so fragile that an ongoing objective in life has become the attempt
to hurt anyone in their path or periphery who intentionally or even inadvertently presumes to threatens it. Seriously doubt this thread will
become much of a post magnetic... partial proof of the validity of the premise if it dies quickly. If not, then once again I'm dead wrong.

they lack a normal and healthy sense of selfhi, if i may comment on the above text just for a moment, actually i did not find it boring but rather revealing, anyhow, this is a subject i have thought about for a while, it may not be evident from my babbling however please be patient. I loved Nirvana, that's right, the Seattle grunge band, they had a very famous song, smells like teen spirit, a small quote from the lyrics follows
assuredness and self esteem.
Shes overboard and self assured
oh no, i know, a dirty word
I've found it hard, its hard to find,
oh well whatever, Nevermind
now this has a bearing on Gps post, as the song was written as being indicative of the spinelessness of Mr Cobains generation, my point however is this, what is wrong with being vulnerable and sensitive? to have self doubts and lack confidence why should this be a crime? why must we be self assured and have self esteem, what is the line between self assurance, confidence and complete and utter arrogance, because as someone who has admittedly suffered from a complete lack of the aforementioned qualities, not because i was dropped as a child but because I deemed other people as being superior in many respects to myself and therefore extreme shyness ensued as a result, therefore to appear normal one has to assume a type of pseudo confidence which is nothing more than a façade and a betrayal of self, oh what the hell, does anyone have a couch that i can lie down on? 🙂

GF posts, not to dismiss them out of hand. Your post is both honest and eloquent. You don't need a couch. You do need to know that you
served a reminder to me that every last one of us is needy, each in his/her own particular way, and are here because we're seeking warmth.
Thank you, Sir.
