Is there not a rule where If I move my pawn 2 spaces forward...and there is another pawn there. If they do not take my pawn I can slide over and take theres? I thought they called it IMPASSE or somthing similar? Is that a chess rule..or an etiqutie thing?

Thanks,

Best to learn the rules before you play.

Thanks....always love when someone answers a legit question with a brainless twit remark....

Bowmann...old saying applies to you very well here...."Its best to be thought a fool...then to speak and remove all doubt....."

If someone asks a simple question...either answer it...or keep it shut...

Yes, it's called en passant (sp?). It's an actual rule, not an etiquitte thing. It's another one of those strange moves like castling.

And I always hate when someone asks a question in complete ignorance.

I answered this "simple" question with the best possible answer: LEARN THE RULES!

Still the same old horses ass aren't you Bowmann!?

If it is too much for you to respond in a friendly and helpful manner, the old saying still holds - "Shut up Bowmann!"

"Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain!"

As you will see here, Bowmann is our idiot savant ... he can spell everything correctly but really doesn't know what it means.

Sorry you had to endure his BS.

You seem to always seriously believe what you write. Such conviction is disturbing.

If everyone always took that attitude...

Chess would die. And you would have killed it.

It makes me feel good to know I got under your skin ...

Don't deny it, it's the reason you respond.

Color me laughing all the way.
