Learn your history, God founded America. And Jesus and Moses defeated the stupid Brits in the revolutionary war all by themselves. Therefore, we trust in God.

PS - I think your post is both stupid and ignorant at the same time. So I gave you stupid and ignorant right back.

Franklin was.

Jefferson and Adams weren't.

I don't think thomson was a mason either.

Still, none of them put the words "In God We Trust" on to anything.

Salmon Chase started that and he wasn't a free mason either.

FDR put it onto currency and he was a mason.

I saw this on the side of a San Francisco police patrol car; when I mentioned it to the officer he said, "Yeh, in god we trust - everyone else we check out!"

Our newest coins don't have that. They decided to end it all. I don't mind whatsoever.
My 2007 quarter and nickel have "In God we trust" on it.

As long as it doesn't say "Cowboys Rule" I don't care what words are on my money. Now the digits in the corners, those are what get my attention.

"In God We Trust" is our national motto, like it or not.

If a visitor finds it disturbing to carry money inscribed with those words, I suggest that he or she give it to the nearest panhandler, who will surely understand the motto and appreciate the cash.
