so on the news the other day they were talking about 'some new online forum for bullying', maybe not exactly how they put it and i can't remember the name of the place but that's not important.

what i want to know is why this crap was on the news? bullying can and probably does take place everywhere but the thing about he internet is that you can turn off your computer and never return to the site. it's not as if it’s at a school or work place where people need to be every day, it's an online forum that people voluntarily visit... why would you go back to a place if you thought you were being bullied?

I think you were confused by the article. The site provides a service for you. Punch in the name of a person, their work or home address and someone comes to bully you.

Turning your computer off won't help once a bully has been sent to find you.

Well, your idea is still a bad one. Here is a girl who has a computer that won't shut off I guess.

But what if your only friends were on online forums too? 😳 Would you let the bully scare you away from quality time with cyber buddies (otherwise known as real-life actual people)?

that was through myspace apparently involving people she actually knew in 'real life', totally different from being 'bullied' on a forum like this one by people you only know through here. it was a site like this, just your regular online forum that the bbc news was talking about.

anything involving facebook, myspace etc. involving people you actually know goes beyond 'internet bullying'.

Nobody should bully the internet. Internets have feelings, too.
