I recently saw a television broadcast of a face to face interview with Charles Manson, and harkening back to that has inspired me to conduct my own interview with one of the more well known criminals of RHP. The interview follows.

Q: Reverend, welcome back from your banishment. I'd like to jump right into things if we could. Do you see yourself as a monster?
Just a word of advice Reverand. Don't answer a single question without adequate representation. Just so you know, I only charge $10 on the hour.
However, if you are feeling poor, just take a peek in the "what is truth" thread. Just repeat some of the gobbledygook people are using in there and before you know it he won't know which way is up or if up actually exists.

I've been reading an interesting book about Shakespeare and what it was like to live in those times. Tremendous paranoia and fear. The possibility that you said something even remotely questionable could land you before the "moderators" who would then engage in a sort of questioning where there was no right answer. On to the tower. Then you were dragged, hanged, disembowled (while still alive to see your innards thrown in boiling water) and quarters and beheaded. I guess that's how you kill a "monster."

Originally posted by DoctorScribblesWell, I tend to be positive in my outlook. Yes, I remember the old days when you were banned. What is so amazing, and yet so hopeful, is that the inquisitors, if you please, still have maintained the same tactics. That game has not changed. In all truthfulness, they are not very creative. Now on to the hopeful part. Look at the contributions of the BWA and our demonic minions. Consider the Great Debate. Consider the volumes of pimpin poetry. Consider the BWA sermon competitions. Consider our contributions to the photo and music competitions. All this inspite of more of our members receiving bans than any other clan. To me that is cause for rejoicing.

Like great writers and movie makers, we are great observers of what we see and hear. When the language and logic are askew, we notice and pay attention. We simply hold up reality, a mirror, if you will. Some people will see the truth. Others simply cry "foul" , or in my case "heretic."

Originally posted by DoctorScribblesThat's an interesting question that gives me pause to answer. We could look at it from a "who is faithful" perspective. Or we could look at it from a more inclusive perspective. As you may recall, the site was set up to be a "worldwide community" of chess players. It is hard to imagine that a "worldwide community" would not be a community of some differing ideas and even dissention from time to time. You know, as a father, I tend to like to see my kids challenge and disagree with me. It tells me I'm doing something right.

Imagine, if you will, as this is a chess site, if there were a policy that all games ont he site must be the Sicilian Dragon variation up to a certain move. I guess you could make those rules, but what's the point? Is there not so much more to be gained by the inclusion of other "variations"?
Actually , I should add one clarification. I am an original pawnstar so I haven't been a "paying subscriber." However, I have paid for others to have a subscription because they were poor and liked to play chess. I just felt it was an extension of my ministry and all.
...the reference to chess variations as a metaphor of "other ideas" is false ( but that does not mean the poster was not trying to make a valid point it just means that even variations have rules to follow ( the "tree" ) and those who show up to play and throw excreta on the board on the fifth move are not being "intellectual", "arty", "free", "adult", ( get my point ? )...it just means they are low level jerks who do not understand that to gamble at
