flags to the thailand for one week starting form today. We haven't really given any sign of respect for all the dead so i think everyone who has a heart should change there flag for a week to thailand... that includes you to shav π
Blob
You go ahead and hang out the flag of Thailand for the people in Sri Lanka though, if you want.

to be honest, i don't think all those dead people and their grieving relatives will give a sh*t about what flags we show. if you want to do something for the survivors, donate or raise money - something that will do some practical good. money will provide access to food, clean water, medicine etc. for some at least.

well if you ask me your all facsist
I paid due attention to the media coverage of the event, paid my own respscts during the three minutes silence, and contributed to the fundraising effort. That is enough, time to move on. In this context does this really make me a fascist? Do you even know what the word means? Edit - just noticed you can't spell the word for sure! /edit.
I am sure those in the affected countries would be touched by your proposed gesture, but they have bigger things to deal with still at this time and that will mean they are unlikely to notice the actions of a few correspondence chess players.

hey, on what grounds was my post moderated out of existence? i suggested that Blobby do something that would be of practical use to the survivors and their families, rather than an empty gesture. what is wrong with that?
