-Removed-There is a lesson at play here, but not the one you think.
Rusty and I have very little in common, but the one thing we do is our ability to start a new day afresh. We can be going at each other hammer and tongs one day, and the next have a civil exchange about cardigans. The previous day's 'banter' is quite literally water off a duck's back. Sure, we will probably clash again later that day, but they will be new clashes. (For the most part).
You lack this ability. You carry each day's baggage into the next, often crushed by the weight of it. It prevents you from moving on, being an interesting poster. It simply isn't a healthy way to use the forums.

Just to clarify, I am not drunk (or, hopefully, posting as if I were), and I am doing my best to be interesting (or at least, adding to the 'debate' )
I am not a member of GOAD's 'little close clique' etc, etc. Nor have I any desire to join them.
But I have 'thumbed down' the odd post by your good self. Because they were just, well, odd.
If I have, as an independent poster, I am sure others may also have done.
