Ireland meet up?

games played/won before taking any alcohol = 12 played, 12 wins no loses 100%
games played/won after taking alcohol = 5 played, 2 wins 3 loses 40%

note to self: never play chess when drunk!

one game took nearly 2 hours :/ CHESS CLOCK PLZ!!!

every game lost was me as black vs queens pawn opening. (i will be practicing this opening for a while methinks)

I've heard that they played with different glasses representing the different chess pieces, filled with lager (white) or Guinness (black).

The looser of a piece had to drink up his chess piece. LOL

I've also heard that still no game has ended. 😛 😉

Congrats and many thanks to Cadwah for hosting a great session. I personally think that alcohol improves my chess. I clearly remember playing nothing but brilliant moves....

Sorry I couldn't make it. I had made a mental note of the meet up and simply forgot. Unforgiveable. How good was the session and when did ye finish up? I live in Rathmines/Rathgar so I could have jumped on the 83 bus and have been there in 20 minutes!

Lets just say that I am not feeling very olympic today.

You could use a simple free image uploader, and then post links- that's all that springs to mind!

If you want I'll find you an address of one. There's probably a better way, though.
