why?
Because it was so business like.

No music in the background, no flowers, no flowing white dress.

Just, sign on the line and say yes. Here's your paper now onto the next docket.

Very unromantic.

edit: Very ANTICLIMACTIC!

I think it's the late hour (at least for me).

At least the party afterwards is still fun 🙂

you don't have to get married in a church for it to be romantic though, outside would be nice with flowers and stuff scattered around but as long as you're getting married to the right person i don't think it matters now you get married, its only one day in the rest of your lives together.

Absolutely, very true!

Outside would be wonderful, I agree!

Just not in a court room. 😞

both my sister and brother got married in registry office, my sister in the town hall and my brother in some other place. my sisters was a bit like the one you talked about, there was a couple of flowers about but it didn't fell right sitting in a counselor's chair. my brothers was nice though, laid out a bit like a church and very colorful.

such a religious family lol

Yup. Especially if you have drunk Celtic fans running around your hotel all night.

Unfortunately Celtic are winning these days.

EDIT: When FC Copenhagen beats them tonight, they will shut up 🙂

THE ANSWER IS SIMPLE. MR AND MRS MEANS THERE ALREADY MARRIED.
No, it doesn't. They could happen to have the same surname (as "Smith" is an extremely common name, that probably happens quite often). It's stated in the puzzle that they need to go to church to get married, so we have to assume that they aren't married.
