Omnislash,
My 2 pence....
Everything goes through cycles, especially the general forum. From my observations I would argue that firstly, you have 3 main groups of people posting, those who have been here a long time (and this includes people obviously people who have been here all the time) and those who are new but want to be part of the establis ...[text shortened]... t 5 months of regular play at RHP. It was all out slagging post after post after post.

I don't believe it's possible to have a forum that makes everyone happy all the time, the best we can do is try to keep a level of civil discourse while welcoming new members into our group.

I now know what you mean and won't say anything about it. We all put that behind us and it shall not restart in this thread.
Do we have any idea what Omnislash was talking about? Who was causing beef???
I noticed the subject kinda changed over to people having fun on the forums, but what upset Omnislash? He hasn't even posted back to this thread???

He may have not posted back thinking that the thread has gone to spam.
And hasn't Omnislash changed since he stopped being a regular poster on the longest thread? He has become more serious.
Actually guys, don't even worry about it. Even though you didn't directly answer my query, the direction the thread has taken has shown me a lot. The bottom line I have come too is that the individual circumstances that had disturbed me are of no real consequence. Regardless of if my feelings about them are what the concensus view is or not, I can see plainly that at worst they were a small splinter in the side and were easily forgotten by everyone else. I just let a few isolated incidents get to me much more than they should have. So, thanks everyone for indirectly solving my dilemma. π
Oh, and CFC, if you think I'm all serious now you obviously don't look at my profile to see my weekly words of wisdom. π
